Seventeen tools stopped publishing prices in October, five shut down, and the FDA record gained 293 decisions across 40 tools. We also corrected one listing at a vendor's request and recomputed scores twice. Every row is in the change log. Recheck any price or tier you saved before October 14.
Prices
Published pricing tiers were removed for 17 tools, 14 on October 14 and 3 on October 15. The list includes Abridge, Ambience Healthcare, Epic AI Charting, Nabla Copilot and Suki Assistant. Notable's Enterprise tier went from $0 to no published price on October 15, and that is a separate row from the 17. Another 195 tools had their tier tables updated, most of them on October 15. If a tool on your list appears in the log, check the vendor page before you sign, because a figure you saw earlier may no longer be published.
Shutdowns and removals
Five tools changed status from active to shutdown. Robin Healthcare went on October 14, followed by Woebot, Youper, Behold.ai and MaxQ AI Accipio on October 15. A shortlist that includes any of the five needs a replacement. We also removed 23 tools from the catalog on October 15, among them Owkin and Recursion.
FDA decisions
The log holds 40 FDA entries, all dated October 15, adding up to 293 decisions. Aidoc has the largest entry at 35, followed by DeepHealth at 18 and Hyperfine Swoop at 17. Six entries add a single number, such as 510(k) K250680 for Bayesian Health and De Novo DEN250068 for J&J Digital Surgery. Larger entries print the first three numbers and count the rest.
Vendor corrections
Color Health asked for a review and got one on October 14. Its description now covers the Virtual Cancer Clinic, HIPAA was added to its certifications on the strength of the company's Notice of Privacy Practices, and the founding year was corrected to 2015. FDA status and named EHR integrations stay unverified, and the listing says so. The source is the Virtual Cancer Clinic page (opens in new tab).
Score moves
Eleven score rows were logged, nine on October 14 and two on October 26. Abridge moved from Top-ranked to Solid choice, and Ambience Healthcare from Competitive to Niche fit, both on October 14. DAX Copilot has two rows that day pointing in opposite directions, so check its tool page for the current tier. Glass Health went from Tracked to Competitive and UpToDate Expert AI from Tracked to Niche fit on October 26.
Changes to this site
The catalog went up as markdown with 249 tools on October 14, and a site entry on October 15 records 228 reviews rewritten from sourced research files. Twenty tools also have their own review row, dated October 14, so a review you read before then predates the rewrite. Scoring method 1.1.0 arrived on October 14 and 1.2.0 on October 20, which added category-specific dimensions, counted a free tier as published pricing and added editorial stars. Scores were recomputed on October 15 with 75 tier changes and again on October 20 with 102. The Atlas Plate redesign is dated October 26.
