Aiforia vs Ibex Medical Analytics
Ibex Prostate Detect is a 510(k) cleared prostate reader, K241232 from January 2025. Aiforia has no FDA clearance, and its prostate suite is research use outside the EU and EEA, which settles the choice for US labs. In Europe both are options. Aiforia reported IVDR certification in February 2025, offers a CE-IVD prostate biopsy suite and clinical suite viewer, and lets a lab build its own models in Aiforia Create. It publishes ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, which Ibex does not state. Ibex lists CE marks on several solutions, with prostate under IVDR.
A Nordic hospital lab that must connect a prostate reader to existing scanners and an LIS gets a stated open API from Ibex, while Aiforia names no scanner or LIS, so Aiforia is the weaker connection. For a lab signing a long contract, Aiforia's FY2025 revenue near USD 4.0M (PitchBook, converted) and a EUR 20M EIB debt facility from July 2026 (Dealroom) are the scale facts that count.
