Aiforia vs Visiopharm
OpenFDA returns no clearance for either vendor, so this is a European purchase. Visiopharm sells diagnostic apps for ER, PR, HER2 and Ki-67 that it says are certified under IVDR, and a 2025 J Pathol Clin Res paper measured HER2-low agreement between expert breast pathologists and its HER2 app. An academic breast unit in Denmark or the Netherlands standardizing HER2-low reporting has the clearer path there. Aiforia lists a breast suite but names no HER2 or Ki-67 app. Its draw is Aiforia Create, which lets a lab build its own models, plus suites for lung, colon, gastric and lymph node metastasis. Visiopharm announced its sale to Grundium Oy in May 2026, and the effect on roadmap and pricing is open. PitchBook puts Aiforia's 2025 revenue near USD 4.0M, so vendor risk sits on both sides. For a lab scoring HER2 and Ki-67 every day, Aiforia is the weaker fit.
