Airs Medical vs Iterative Health

Airs Medical works on MRI scanners. SwiftMR reconstructs images, SwiftSight measures brain and body composition, and the vendor lists Siemens, GE, Philips and Canon compatibility. Iterative Health's SKOUT works inside the endoscopy suite, flagging colorectal polyps on the live colonoscopy video feed. An imaging center buys the first. A gastroenterology group or endoscopy center buys the second, and neither has a use for the other's product.

For SKOUT, a sponsor-run randomized trial at five centers compared 677 standard colonoscopies with 682 using computer-aided detection. It found 0.83 versus 1.05 adenomas per colonoscopy (P=.002), while the adenoma detection rate moved from 43.9% to 47.8% (P=.065). SKOUT's six openFDA decisions run from August 2022 to December 2025.

SwiftMR has five openFDA decisions, from K210999 in October 2021 to K261349 in July 2026.

Iterative Health's own pages now lead with clinical research, with SKOUT in the product menu.
