Circle Cardiovascular Imaging vs Eyenuk

A retinal camera and a CT scanner feed different software, and the two vendors sell to different clinics.

Eyenuk describes EyeArt as autonomous grading of diabetic retinopathy with no physician overread, for adults with diabetes not previously diagnosed with it. The vendor says it is cleared with the Canon CR-2 AF, Canon CR-2 Plus AF and Topcon NW400 cameras and integrates with Epic. openFDA lists EyeArt as K200667 (August 2020) and version 2.2.0 as K223357 (June 2023). The homepage states 96% sensitivity and 88% specificity for more than mild DR, while a 2023 release citing trial NCT04984200 gives 94.4% and 91.1%. The billing code cited is CPT 92229, and HIPAA, SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 13485:2016 are vendor statements. A primary care clinic or screening program with a fundus camera is the EyeArt buyer.

StrokeSENS is Circle's acute stroke CT software, with ASPECTS cleared in July 2025 (K250221) and LVO triage in October 2021 (K212261), next to the cardiac MR and CT platform. A stroke center reading acute CT is the Circle buyer.
