CureMetrix vs ScreenPoint Transpara
ScreenPoint says Transpara was the software in MASAI, a Lund University randomized study of AI-supported screening, and reports sensitivity of 80.5% against 73.8% for standard double reading at 98.5% specificity across over 105,000 women. Transpara has eight 510(k)s, one of them for density (December 2023), the latest in August 2026, and it reads 2D and 3D mammograms from any vendor's system according to ScreenPoint. CureMetrix suits a breast practice that wants calcification quantification on its screening mammograms. A screening center choosing between detection support and BAC reporting for its next AI line has more to evaluate in Transpara, and CureMetrix trails there, since its cmAssist detection CAD is listed as still in development in the US and cleared only in Brazil. Whether MASAI's double-reading result carries over to US single-read practices is open. A center that wants BAC reporting rather than detection support goes to CureMetrix.
