EchoNous vs Viz.ai
A 2025 meta-analysis of 12 studies and 15,595 patients on Viz.ai found shorter door-to-groin and door-in-door-out times for stroke patients and no significant difference in clinical outcomes. The vendor's July 2026 release says the platform is embedded in 2,000 hospitals, and FDA records include two De Novos, ContaCT for LVO in 2018 and Viz HCM in 2023. Its Trust Center lists SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Sales go through a demo request.
EchoNous's evidence is smaller. Its papers cover novices screening for heart failure, Army medic trauma scans and a handheld validation for aortic stenosis. The site names no customers and carries physician testimonials. Kosmos goes to a clinic or field medical team that wants a scanner in the bag. A stroke coordinator comparing alerts and transfers is shopping coordination software across a hospital network, which a probe does not supply.
