Exo vs ScreenPoint Transpara
The vendor says Transpara was the reader aid in MASAI, a randomized screening trial published in The Lancet by Lund University researchers. For the 2026 Lancet analysis, the vendor reports sensitivity of 80.5% with AI-supported reading against 73.8% for standard double reading without AI, at 98.5% specificity, over more than 105,000 women. It separately claims 29% more cancers detected and a 44% workload cut, and those figures come from different analyses. It says Transpara is FDA cleared and CE marked for 2D and 3D mammography, used in more than 30 countries, and works with any vendor's equipment.
Transpara is reading support for mammograms in breast screening programs, while Exo Iris is a handheld scanner for hospitalists and EMS crews at the bedside. Exo's pages list Cardiac AI Suite, Lung AI Suite, Fluid Management AI, SweepAI scan guidance that works offline, and population-health tools for thyroid cancer risk and hip dysplasia. A Samsung Medison collaboration was announced in May 2025.
