Hyperfine Swoop vs Viz.ai
ContaCT, Viz.ai's LVO software for CTA, was De Novo authorized in 2018 as computer-assisted triage and notification. A 2025 meta-analysis of 12 studies and 15,595 patients found shorter door-to-groin and door-in-door-out times, with no significant difference in clinical outcomes. Health systems buy Viz.ai after a demo with no public price, and its Trust Center lists SOC 2 Type II. A stroke hub coordinating transfers across hospitals is the buyer. Hyperfine's first portable MRI clearance, the Lucy system, dates from February 2020 and its latest Swoop record from August 2026, and the product serves an ICU or a hospital without MRI access. Alert software and a bedside scanner rarely land on the same shortlist, so neither tool loses to the other: the transfer-heavy hub takes Viz.ai, and the ICU or hospital without MRI access takes Swoop.
