Infervision vs ScreenPoint Transpara
Breast screening programs and chest CT reading groups buy for different exams. ScreenPoint describes Transpara for 2D and 3D mammograms with single or double reading, and Infervision describes InferRead for CT and chest X-ray. Each tool has its own buyer.
A screening program weighing Transpara has the MASAI randomized trial in view. ScreenPoint says Transpara was the tool, and Lund University ran the trial. The vendor page claims 29% more cancers detected and 44% less workload, figures that come from a 2025 interim analysis and a 2023 one. The latest Transpara 510(k) is K260898 from August 2026.
A radiology group reading chest CT looks at Infervision. The InferRead Lung CT.AI page lists nodule detection with follow-up registration and volume doubling time, and the product was cleared in July 2020 and again in May 2025. InferRead CT Stroke.AI triages head CT and was cleared in August 2021.
