Proscia Concentriq vs Vesta

Agilent announced on October 13, 2026 an agreement to acquire Proscia for up to $270 million, $240 million in cash at closing plus up to $30 million in earnout. The deal is pending and expected to close early in Agilent's fiscal 2027, so a clinical lab signing for Concentriq today signs before that closing. The product is Concentriq AP-Dx, with 510(k)s from February 2024 and August 2026 for viewing FFPE surgical pathology slides as an aid to primary diagnosis, plus SOC 2 Type II announced in December 2025. Frozen sections, cytology and non-FFPE hematopathology fall outside the indication.

A lab director picking a slide platform and a clinician ordering a BCG-response test are not choosing between Concentriq and Vesta. Valar says Vesta tests are performed in its own CLIA-certified laboratory, and the report goes back to whoever ordered it. Valar shows no public price, though its FAQ describes a Financial Access Program for patients.
