Aidoc vs Hyperfine Swoop

Swoop is a portable 0.064T brain MRI with Optive AI reconstruction that needs no shielded room and produces T1, T2, FLAIR and DWI, with no contrast-enhanced T1. A Scientific Reports paper puts its image quality below 1.5T and 3T. Hospitals own the unit and sign an annual service agreement on 36- or 60-month terms. Hyperfine publishes no price: that paper estimated about $50,000 per system in 2022, and the company's 10-K puts the conventional MRI average near $1.2 million. A bedside-MRI buyer is shopping for hardware and an AI-triage buyer for software, so neither is choosing between these two. A community hospital or neuro-ICU without easy MRI access is Swoop's buyer. A radiology department with CT already running is Aidoc's, with a 101,944-scan real-world ICH study showing 82.2% sensitivity and 97.6% specificity. Hyperfine is still loss-making, with a Q2 2026 net loss of $9.3 million, per a Yahoo Finance summary, and preliminary Q3 revenue near $6.0 million.
