Aidoc vs ScreenPoint Transpara
A hospital with an overnight CT worklist and a breast screening program are different customers, and no buyer weighs these two against each other. Aidoc triages acute findings on CT, with 35 openFDA 510(k) records and a $6 per scan per algorithm per hospital site listing on AWS Marketplace. ScreenPoint's Transpara reads 2D and 3D mammograms for cancer detection and breast density. It has eight 510(k)s, the latest K260898 in August 2026, and no public price.
Transpara carries the stronger trial evidence. The MASAI randomized trial, run by Lund University researchers, reported sensitivity of 80.5% against 73.8% for standard double reading at 98.5% specificity across more than 105,000 women, as ScreenPoint quotes the Lancet paper. ScreenPoint adds a 12% lower interval cancer rate and a 29% detection gain, both its own framing from different analyses. MASAI is Swedish and built on double reading, so whether it carries over to US sites reading singly is open.
Transpara goes to the imaging center reading screening mammograms, Aidoc to the emergency radiology group.
