EchoNous vs VUNO
VUNO's FDA list holds two 510(k) records: Med-DeepBrain MR volumetry (K231398, October 2023) and a chest X-ray triage tool for adult pleural effusion and/or pneumothorax (K241439, November 2024). Its chest page describes support for five major findings across lung cancer, tuberculosis and pneumonia, which that triage decision does not cover. Its history page records CE marking of five VUNO Med solutions in June 2020.
VUNO goes into a hospital radiology department with chest films and brain MR, and Kosmos goes into the hands of a point-of-care clinician. The two buyers do not overlap. EchoNous's Kosmos AI page lists five features and marks some as "not available in all markets."
On security, VUNO's privacy page lists ISO/IEC 27001 and 27701 valid through November 2028 and names no HIPAA or SOC 2 status. EchoNous's home page says Kosmos is HIPAA and SOC2 compliant and lists SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials.
