GE HealthCare AI Suite vs Subtle Medical

Subtle Medical sells to imaging departments and calls its software vendor-neutral across MR, PET and CT. It counts 11 FDA clearances, the newest SubtleHD-PET (K254013) and SubtleHD-CT (K254120) from May 2026. Subtle claims MR sequences up to 80% faster and PET scans up to 75% faster. It also says its software is deployed on over 1,300 scanners.

AIR Recon DL (K213717) is GE's MR reconstruction, and GE claims scan-time reductions of up to 50%. GE sells its AI with scanners or as scanner options, so a department ordering a new GE MR can add it to that order.

Most of GE's tools are embedded in GE scanners and viewers, so a mixed-vendor imaging department gets less from GE than from Subtle, whose software is vendor-neutral by its own description.
