GE HealthCare AI Suite vs Ultromics EchoGo

Ultromics describes its workflow as upload, analysis and return of results. Routine echo studies are routed through standard DICOM workflows, AI findings are returned into PACS and EMR systems, and the vendor says typical return is within 20 minutes with no on-premise infrastructure.

GE HealthCare sells a portfolio, and each product is cleared on its own K number. AIR Recon DL got K213717 on June 8, 2022 and Critical Care Suite got K223491 on May 25, 2023. The cardiac ultrasound piece is Caption AI guidance on Venue POCUS and Vscan Air SL, which came with the Caption Health acquisition that closed February 17, 2023. A health system buying GE MR, CT or X-ray equipment gets the AI with the scanner or as an option on it.

For an echo lab that is not replacing ultrasound hardware, GE's AI arrives only with a scanner or as an option on a GE scanner, sold on enterprise quotes, so that lab's route to echo AI runs through Ultromics.
