Infervision vs Qure.ai
Infervision suits a radiology group reading chest CT that wants nodule follow-up with volume doubling time, and a thoracic service that wants 3D surgical planning from InferOperate. InferRead Lung CT.AI was cleared in July 2020 and again in May 2025. Qure.ai suits a hospital that wants head CT triage and lung nodule CT next to chest X-ray, with qER first cleared in June 2020 and qCT Lung in September 2026.
TB screening is where the two reach the same setting. An independent Lusaka evaluation of InferRead DR Chest reported 90.3% sensitivity at 39.2% specificity at cut-off 0.12. A separate 12-product evaluation reported qXR v3 at 95.5% sensitivity and 48.7% specificity at one threshold. Those are two studies with different designs.
On chest X-ray the records differ in what they name. Qure.ai's include qXR-LN (K231805, December 2023) for nodules on adult frontal chest radiographs and qXR-PTX-PE (K230899, August 2023) for pneumothorax and effusion triage. Infervision's six name InferRead Lung CT.AI, InferRead CT Stroke.AI, InferOperate Suite and InferCare RECIST. For a community hospital radiology department buying chest X-ray AI, Infervision loses.
