Iterative Health vs Philips Imaging AI

A hospital replacing an MR, CT or ultrasound system gets Philips's AI as part of that purchase. The portfolio spans SmartSpeed Precise for MR reconstruction, Precise Image for CT and DiA LVivo cardiac measurements on ultrasound, and 25 of the 49 Philips entries on the FDA AI-enabled device list are ultrasound system clearances. A European MR buyer weighing SmartSpeed Precise meets a press page whose body text says the software is available and whose footnote says it is not yet CE marked and not available for sale.

SKOUT runs on the colonoscopy feed and serves an endoscopy unit. It carries six 510(k) clearances from August 2022 to December 2025, the first under the name Iterative Scopes, Inc., and the company's home page now leads with clinical research sites.

The two share no workflow. Philips's AI works on scanner and ultrasound images, SKOUT on endoscopy video, and each sits in a different department's budget.
