Qure.ai vs TeraRecon
For a health system that wants head CT alerts, TeraRecon is the weaker fit. Its seven algorithmic openFDA records cover T1 and T2 mapping, structural heart, brain perfusion (two decisions), cardiac chambers on MR, the aorta on CT and coronary calcification. Qure's qER (K200921, June 17, 2020) is cleared as QAS CT triage, and qER-CTA (K251610) followed on September 8, 2025.
TeraRecon says its AI Framework runs several algorithms per study, compares priors and holds results for physician review before they are committed. That makes it the host for a hospital IT group that wants one vendor-agnostic platform, with its own Aorta.CT (K243158, January 23, 2025) segmenting the aorta on adult CTA.
Qure is the pick for a lung nodule program. qCT LN Quant (K240740, August 16, 2024) handles volumetry and tracking, and qCT Lung v1.0 (K261517, September 14, 2026) is the newest of its ten openFDA records. Qure's regulatory page says images are de-identified before cloud processing or handled on premise inside the covered entity.
