Bottom line
DoseMeRx is a web-based Bayesian dosing platform that the vendor calls "the world's first and largest" for clinical practice. The vendor says it individualizes doses from patient data and measured drug concentrations, with vancomycin and aminoglycosides as the headline drugs. Hospital clinical pharmacists are the stated buyers, and DoseMe is a portfolio company of Fairlong Capital. A prescriber who wants general drug lookup is outside what the vendor describes, and a buyer who wants a price list reaches a demo request form.
A private-equity portfolio company with conflicting addresses
Fairlong Capital, a middle-market private equity firm, owns DoseMe. On November 3, 2025 DoseMe announced the acquisition of Firstline, a mobile-first clinical decision support platform for infectious disease protocols, local resistance data and stewardship. Terms were not disclosed.
Two legal names appear. DoseMe Pty Ltd holds the DoseMe trademark, and DoseMe LLC holds the DoseMeRx service marks. The website gives a head office in Tampa, Florida and a regional office in Brisbane. A press release is datelined Jupiter, Florida and Vancouver, British Columbia, and two PubMed papers carry the affiliation "DoseMe, Jupiter, Florida". The addresses conflict, and no page reconciles them. The vendor states no founding year.
What the platform covers and how it is sold
The vendor also claims the largest Bayesian dosing platform in the US. It lists vancomycin models including AUC/MIC targets, aminoglycosides, and models across infectious disease, transplant, cardiovascular and coagulation, oncology and pediatrics. The homepage describes a staged set-up journey, integrations, analytics, home-infusion modules and 24/7 support. A news item reports Bayside Health launching a DoseMeRx integration with Oracle, the only EHR named on the vendor site.
The vendor says it is the only HITRUST CSF certified Bayesian dosing platform and does not give the HITRUST level. It publishes a HIPAA privacy statement and a page on GDPR, and it makes no FDA, CE or TGA claim. For pricing, the nearest thing is a demo request form at doseme-rx.com/demo-request, and the pricing URL redirects to the homepage.
What has been published about it?
Three of the 16 papers that name DoseMe or DoseMeRx come from authors with a DoseMe affiliation, and the 16 run from 2015 to 2026. Shiau and colleagues (Open Forum Infect Dis, 2025) analyzed vancomycin troughs in a large dataset. Yamamoto and colleagues (Ther Drug Monit, 2025) built a Bayesian framework for amikacin in critically ill cancer patients. Ryan and colleagues (Br J Clin Pharmacol, 2021) compared amikacin models in two Bayesian packages. Hennig and colleagues (Clin Pharmacokinet, 2015, Brisbane) compared nomograms, log-linear regression and two Bayesian programs, TCIWorks and DoseMe, for once-daily tobramycin in 172 children with cystic fibrosis, and the vendor cites it on its evidence page. Vali and colleagues (Br J Clin Pharmacol, 2021) ran a quasi-experimental study of personalized vancomycin dosing with DoseMeRx, which the vendor lists as supporting evidence. Most of the remaining papers are multi-product comparisons or reviews.
An independent paper from Oman (J Pharmacokinet Pharmacodyn, 2026, PMID 42800832) enrolled 90 inpatients and set the Goti vancomycin model in DoseMeRx against the Rodvold model in PrecisePK. Concordance was poor (rho_c 0.59). The DoseMeRx Goti posterior had a relative bias of 20.17%, outside the plus or minus 20% criterion, and the PrecisePK Rodvold posterior 0.47%.
The vendor's evidence page lists nine papers and an IDWeek 2019 poster, with summaries such as "cost savings up to $369,000 per 300 patients" (Telles 2024). The homepage carries vendor-selected testimonials, among them an infectious diseases specialist who "noticed a 70% decrease in the rate of kidney injury".
The verdict
Hospital pharmacies running vancomycin and aminoglycoside monitoring are the buyers the vendor addresses, while a prescriber without a dosing service sits outside that audience.

Carries HITRUST CSF per vendor documentation. Independent attestation review is the buyer's responsibility before clinical deployment.
What the literature says
4 peer-reviewed studies indexed on PubMed evaluate DoseMeRx in clinical contexts. The most relevant are shown below, ranked by editorial relevance score combining title match, study design, recency, and journal tier.
- [Free online software tools for precision dosing of vancomycin, and other drugs]. (opens in new tab)
- Quereilhac MI, Taboada GF, Caceres Guido P· Rev Fac Cien Med Univ Nac Cordoba· 2025
- Software tools that assist in the pharmacotherapeutic optimization of narrow therapeutic range drugs are widely available. However, empirical (“trial and error”) methods are still common. The aim of this work was to evaluate the characteristics and performance of free-online software that assist in precision dosing of vancomycin. An exhaustive search was performed in Google, Google Scholar, and Pubmed/Medline, with no time limits. General descriptive and pharmacokinetic characteristics related to vancomycin and, occasionally, to other drugs were evaluated. Different scores were…
- Evaluation of two model-based Bayesian approaches for vancomycin dosing in general hospitalized patients. (opens in new tab)
- Al-Khirbash AS, Za'abi MA, Al-Maqbali JS, et al.· J Pharmacokinet Pharmacodyn· 2026
- Recent guidelines recommend Bayesian forecasting for vancomycin dosing. However, the agreement and predictive performance of different pharmacokinetic models remain unclear in hospitalized patients in general. This study evaluated two model-based Bayesian approaches implemented in platforms: the Goti et al. model in DoseMeRx and the Rodvold et al. model in PrecisePK. This single-centre prospective cohort study was conducted at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, Oman, between April and October 2025. Adult inpatients aged ≥ 18 years with normal renal function were incl…
- Implementation of Vancomycin Therapeutic Monitoring Guidelines: Focus on Bayesian Estimation Tools in Neonatal and Pediatric Patients. (opens in new tab)
- Han J, Sauberan J, Tran MT, et al.· Ther Drug Monit· 2022
- The 2020 consensus guidelines for vancomycin therapeutic monitoring recommend using Bayesian estimation targeting the ratio of the area under the curve over 24 hours to minimum inhibitory concentration as an optimal approach to individualize therapy in pediatric patients. To support institutional guideline implementation in children, the objective of this study was to comprehensively assess and compare published population-based pharmacokinetic (PK) vancomycin models and available Bayesian estimation tools, specific to neonatal and pediatric patients. PubMed and Embase databases were searched…
- Bayesian method application: Integrating mathematical modeling into clinical pharmacy through vancomycin therapeutic monitoring. (opens in new tab)
- Chen A, Gupta A, Do DH, et al.· Pharmacol Res Perspect· 2022
- The most recent consensus guidelines for dosing and monitoring vancomycin recommended the use of area-under-the-curve with Bayesian estimation for therapeutic monitoring. As this is a modern concept in the practice of clinical pharmacy, the main objective of this review is to introduce the fundamentals of Bayesian estimation and its mathematical application as it relates to vancomycin therapeutic drug monitoring. In addition, we aim to identify pharmacokinetic (PK) software programs that incorporate Bayesian estimation for vancomycin dosing and to describe the PK models utilized in those soft…
