Who is behind PMHScribe?

The About page credits Sikorsky with "over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector," a previously founded multistate telepsychiatry group practice and a PaaS company for ADHD care, and an MIT course on AI applications in healthcare. The About and terms pages give no legal entity, headquarters or founding year, and mention no funding. The terms reference the laws of the state of Illinois. The home page says "We've helped thousands of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and counselors," without giving a number.

PMHScribe drafts the note and the clinician pastes it

The vendor says speech-to-text produces structured psychiatric notes in seconds, which the clinician edits and copies out. The psychiatry plan covers initial evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy add-ons, letters, orders and ICD-10 and CPT codes. Templates are customizable, and dictation can go into the transcript. The FAQ states that the product currently uses a copy-and-paste workflow and that two direct integrations are pending, without naming them.

The FAQ lists HIPAA and HITECH adherence, a BAA on request, no saved or stored audio recording, no training on customer data, 256-bit encryption and AWS hosting.

PMHScribe has two month-to-month plans

Every plan starts with a free trial, no credit card and cancel any time. Counseling is $79 a month for therapists, social workers, counselors and psychologists, and covers psychotherapy, DAP and BIRP notes, unlimited session time, letters, medication management and orders. Psychiatry is $99 a month for psychiatrists, PMHNPs and PAs. The FAQ answers the contract question with "No, we are month-to-month." Group practices can ask for a discount coupon, and Enterprise for 50+ clinicians goes through sales.

What does the testimonial wall say?

About 20 five-star testimonials sit on the home page, selected by the vendor and undated. Kristina Timmons, DNP, PMHNP, owner of New Day Psychiatry, credits it with "meeting insurance benchmark requirements, even the psychotherapy portion!" Another reads "Two 90833s pays for it," and one names Blueprint as the tool the writer used before. A PubMed title and abstract search for PMHScribe returns nothing.

The verdict

A nurse practitioner or therapist who wants a month-to-month scribe and will paste notes into the chart is the buyer the product serves. A practice that needs EHR push, or a named company to contract with, gets neither at present.
