eCART vs Isabel Healthcare
A hospital could license both tools. Isabel sells to institutions by demo request, lists Cerner App Gallery availability and info-button access for Epic clients, and has offered an API since 2010. The jobs differ. DDx Companion returns a ranked differential from a patient's findings, while eCART gives ward nursing and quality teams a deterioration score for hospitalized patients, and the vendor counts 150,000+ clinical users. An individual clinician pays $149 per year for Standard or $199 for Premium, which adds an English-only LLM layer, a resident pays $49, and a 30-day free trial is offered. A 2025 Orphanet Journal of Rare Diseases study set Isabel against an interdisciplinary case conference in 100 rare-disease patients, and its top ten matched at least one conference diagnosis in 28% of cases. The authors say history filtering may limit standalone effectiveness. The vendor's own figure is 96% for the correct disease in the top ten.
