Augmedix vs OmniMD AI Scribe

OmniMD built its scribe inside an EHR company, so the practices it suits best already run the OmniMD EHR, where one vendor supports both the chart and the note. OmniMD's page lists Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks and Allscripts, and says the standalone scribe works with any EHR. Neither vendor posts a price. OmniMD's FAQ puts the market at $100 to $400 per provider per month and does not call that its own quote.

Augmedix draws the cancer centers on iKnowMed or NextGen and the emergency departments that want human documentation behind the AI, through its emergency medicine app and the Assist and Live tiers. OmniMD's SOC 2 Type II and HITRUST badges read "operational alignment" and "framework-oriented controls", with no report linked.

OmniMD promises go-live within 48 to 72 hours of signing, and its native scribe sits inside the OmniMD EHR, which Augmedix's EHR list leaves out.
