Bayesian Health vs Navina

An inpatient sepsis lead is Bayesian Health's buyer. The software holds FDA 510(k) K250680, cleared April 30, 2026, and shows a "Sepsis Risk High" flag in the EHR when an adult 18 or older is at risk of developing sepsis within 24 hours. The sepsis flag descends from TREWS. Adams and colleagues published a 2022 Nature Medicine study of TREWS across five hospitals and 764,707 encounters, and the vendor's release reports 18% lower in-hospital mortality when alerts were acted on, from an observational design rather than a randomized trial. The vendor also says real-world customers saw a 5.5% absolute mortality reduction. Bayesian has no public price.

A primary care medical director in value-based contracts is Navina's buyer. The homepage lists chart summaries with source evidence, HCC and risk-adjustment suggestions at the visit, and care-gap closure. Those are primary care chart tasks, so a sepsis lead on an inpatient service and a risk-adjustment lead on an attributed population are separate buyers for these two products.
