CareBeam vs Evidently

CareBeam records encounters, drafts SOAP notes, referral letters and after-visit summaries, then audits charts for coding gaps before claims go out. It lists athenahealth, ModMed, Healthie, eClinicalWorks, Veradigm and Greenway, publishes a click-through BAA, and shows customers such as Clarity Pediatrics on its homepage. Its 98%+ accuracy claim is the vendor's. Evidently does not record visits. It reads the longitudinal chart, including outside records, and drafts notes such as admission H&Ps. University of Iowa Health Care, which the vendor lists as a customer, runs it inside Epic. A pilot published in Appl Clin Inform in May 2026 by Iowa clinicians compared 22 matched pairs of AI and provider admission notes, and the AI matched the principal diagnosis in 20. It was single-center and retrospective, and the vendor's whitepaper cites it. Neither company publishes a price. An independent athenahealth or ModMed practice that needs visits turned into notes cannot use Evidently, which does not record visits. A health system after chart review across the record looks to Evidently, since CareBeam drafts from the recorded visit.
