CodaMetrix vs Synthpop

These two sit at opposite ends of a claim. Synthpop says its payor agent verifies eligibility, benefits and authorization through APIs first and phones the payor only when nothing else answers. Its homepage lists Waystar, Availity and Change Healthcare on the billing side, and Brightree, NikoHealth, Bonafide and DrChrono among systems, which points to home infusion and DME suppliers. A separate compliance agent reviews lab orders against CAP and CLIA frameworks. The homepage "Trusted by" strip shows MedBridge, and the vendor claims 58% fewer manual payor calls. Synthpop announced a $15M Series A in February 2026.

CodaMetrix starts after the visit. It takes notes, orders and charges and returns coded claims, and secondary sources report Epic, Oracle Health, GE and Meditech connections. That is a hospital professional-fee department's purchase. A supplier verifying coverage on referrals and a department coding finished encounters are separate buyers.
