Epic Sepsis Model vs MyoVista wavECG

openFDA returns one record for HeartSciences, K260005 for the MyoVista wavECG, decided October 5, 2026. The clearance does not include an AI-ECG algorithm, and the company's release says it does not intend to commercialize the device without one, with no timeline. The same release announces a business combination with Fortitude Mining Holdings, expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Epic hospitals get the Epic Sepsis Model inside their EHR. In its 2021 validation at Michigan Medicine, across 38,455 hospitalizations, it missed 67 percent of sepsis cases at an AUROC of 0.63 while alerting on 18 percent of hospitalizations.

HeartSciences sells to cardiology clinics, which share no purchase with a hospital's inpatient risk score. Today a clinic gets a 12-lead resting ECG with advisory interpretive statements for adults and children, plus the MyoVista Insights software, which lists an Epic showroom entry. No price is public.
