Epic Sepsis Model vs Triomics
Triomics says its PRISM product screens upcoming patients against every active trial nightly, that it runs inside Epic, OncoEMR and iKnowMed, and that it is approved on the Epic App Marketplace. The buyer is a cancer center's trial office. MSK announced in November 2025 that it would deploy Triomics for clinical trial matching and screening, and MSK discloses institutional financial interests in the company. The vendor's 30 percent accrual lift (ASCO 2025) is its own number, its PRISM page labels some metrics as placeholders, and it makes no FDA claim. Pricing runs through a demo request.
On the Epic side, hospitals use the Epic Sepsis Model to flag sepsis in admitted patients, a separate need from Triomics' oncology trial matching. It exists as version 1, a logistic regression, and version 2, gradient-boosted trees that a hospital can localize.
