Fourier Health vs TORTUS

Referral faxes in a US health system and ambient notes in an NHS trust are different problems. Fourier Health classifies and uploads inbound records, then writes cited summaries into Epic, Cerner or Athena. One case the vendor reports cut intake for 18,000 outside referrals a year from 28 days to 17. TORTUS listens to the consultation, drafts the note, letters, referrals and codes, and files them to the EHR after clinician approval. The vendor names the London Ambulance Service telephone clinical hub, St George's emergency department and Royal Devon as deployments, and says Royal Devon was the first trust to integrate fully with Epic. It describes itself as holding UKCA Class IIa status. Fourier takes demo requests. TORTUS posts no price, and a G-Cloud 14 pilot document that expired on March 31, 2025 listed GBP 15,000 excluding VAT for three months and up to 100 licenses.
