GE HealthCare AI Suite vs Tempus AI Imaging

Tempus describes Pixel, the former Arterys platform, as cloud software for radiology and oncology reads: lesion segmentation, longitudinal tracking, RECIST-style response reports and cardiac MR analysis. Its lung, breast and prostate components run on third-party engines such as iCAD ProFound and Quibim. FDA lists Tempus Pixel as K252539 (September 2025) under Arterys, Inc., which Tempus's release describes as a cardiac imaging platform, and a page footnote says Pixel Lung is cleared but not indicated for lung nodule detection. Tempus says it integrates with existing PACS, EHR, worklist and dictation systems. An oncology service tracking lesions across serial CT and MR is the buyer.

GE's neuro entry is icobrain from icometrix, which icometrix.com now calls a GE HealthCare company. Per icometrix, icobrain aria is the first FDA-cleared tool to detect and quantify ARIA, cleared in November 2024. Lesion tracking for oncology and ARIA quantification on brain MRI answer different questions, so an oncology service evaluates Pixel and a neurology imaging service evaluates icobrain.
