Navina is built for primary care and value-based groups with attributed populations. It summarizes charts, recommends HCCs at the visit and lists care gaps, with athenahealth, Epic and Veradigm named on the homepage. KLAS comments say some deployments use a Chrome extension, and one director reports that the EHR vendor does not love that. A VP calls its risk adjustment very good but focused on Medicare. PERISCOPE is for a hospital's surgical quality team and follows post-operative patients, which puts it outside Navina's attributed primary care populations. It predicts postoperative bacterial infection from existing EHR data with XGBoost models built per hospital, and the vendor puts implementation at 8 to 12 weeks depending on the EHR.
