Lunit vs Overjet
A dental group reading bitewing and periapical films has Overjet. openFDA lists twelve Overjet records, from Dental Assist (K210187, May 19, 2021) to Multi-Image Caries and Charting Assist (K261059, August 6, 2026), and CBCT Assist (K251514) was decided December 5, 2025. The trust center page states a HITRUST certification. Two studies measure Caries Assist. Frontiers in Dental Medicine (2025) reported sensitivity of 0.69 for enamel and 0.91 for dentin, and a 2026 Journal of Dentistry comparison against micro-CT put sensitivity at the dentin threshold at 56%. The vendor's own wording is "millimeter precision," with no study cited.
Lunit's pages cover INSIGHT CXR, 2D mammography, tomosynthesis and, since the 2024 Volpara purchase of about US$193M, density and positioning tools. A radiology group reading chest films and screening mammograms is the fit, and the latest mammography clearance is K260320 (April 23, 2026). Overjet's pages address dentists and dental support organizations, a different customer list from Lunit's cancer and chest imaging pages.
