Philips Imaging AI vs Tempus AI Imaging

A hospital cardiology service choosing its next cardiac imaging AI faces two different modalities. Tempus describes Pixel, the cloud platform formerly called Arterys, as cardiac MR analysis that can generate T1 and T2 inline maps from raw MRI data, and Pixel received a special 510(k) update in September 2025. For a service built around cardiac MR, Philips gives way to Tempus. Tempus also describes lesion segmentation and RECIST-style response reports for oncology services, and claims use at 100+ health systems. Pixel's Lung module is FDA cleared under K203744 without an indication for nodule detection, which a third-party engine supplies in the U.S.
