SimConverse vs USMLE-Rx

In a 2026 Advances in Simulation paper, Villanova and PCOM authors compared SimConverse's AI feedback with human raters on the Weight Sensitivity Instrument. Seven of 11 items showed good agreement (Gwet's AC1 of 0.71 or higher), and three stayed poor at 0.42, 0.66 and 0.64. A faculty member who authors rubrics in plain language and wants marking to track human raters has that to go on, and program pricing sits behind a demo.

USMLE-Rx is a medical student's purchase, so the two tools serve different buyers. The pricing page shows Qmax at $299 for 12 months charged once, or $194.35 under a 35% sale, and the Rx360+ all-in-one at $399, or $259.35 on sale. The page does not label which figure is the original. The vendor lists 5,000+ questions in Qmax, says 100,000+ students use the product, and says First Aid's authors created it. Plans do not auto-renew, and a five-day Rx360+ trial needs no credit card.
