FeelBetter vs NarxCare

A dispensing pharmacist opening NarxCare sees PDMP data as tiles with Narx Scores and an Overdose Risk Score, and Bamboo Health says the tool aims to aid, not replace, medical decision making. FeelBetter suits a long-term care operator on PointClickCare that wants medication warnings from EMR and claims data, reviewed by pharmacists and physicians. One answers a question about a single prescription and the other about a whole panel of residents, so no buyer is really choosing between them.

At Brigham and Women's, two clinical pharmacists reviewed FeelBetter recommendations for 200 patients and judged 1,151 of 1,290 warnings correct, in a retrospective cohort that measured accuracy and not patient outcomes. An NPJ Digital Medicine paper rebuilt NarxCare's models from the published specification and got precision of 0.01 to 0.32 against a reported 0.75. Citeline Medtech Insight reported a second FDA citizen petition on NarxCare as under CDRH review in March 2026. FeelBetter offers a demo request, and NarxCare's product page lists no price.
