What is Supanote and who sells it?

The homepage calls it an "AI scribe for mental health providers" under the headline "Spend More Time With Clients, Not Notes." The seller is Supanote AI, per the copyright line "© 2026 Supanote". Founders and headquarters are not stated.

What does it do?

According to the vendor, you can record a live session, upload audio or dictate, in person or over telehealth. Templates cover SOAP, DAP, intake and treatment plans, with custom options. You can edit a note by typing plain-English instructions, and the tool saves your preferences. It lists 120-plus languages with automatic detection, and says identifiers are removed and recordings deleted after the note is produced.

How does it connect to an EHR?

The homepage shows logos for Valant, SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Tebra, DrChrono, ICANotes, Ensora Health and Carepatron, plus "all leading EHRs" via copy and paste. Toolentra, a review site, describes a "Super Fill" feature that writes notes back into SimplePractice, TherapyNotes, Valant, Tebra and ICANotes. AppScribed reports that the EHR integration is limited to the top plan.

What does it cost?

Supanote's own blog lists $19.99 for 40 notes, $39.99 for 100 notes and $69.99 for unlimited notes, on annual billing. Toolentra lists $29.99, $49.99 and $89.99. Third parties give the trial as 14 days, and the homepage says no credit card is needed.

What about privacy and compliance?

The vendor claims HIPAA, PHIPA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, and links a BAA page (supanote.ai/baa) and a security page (security.supanote.ai). SOC 2 is not stated, a gap Toolentra also notes. The homepage also claims the product is loved by more than 10,000 therapists, a figure with no source behind it.

What do reviewers say?

Toolentra rates it 4.2 out of 5, calling Super Fill genuinely useful and naming the note caps and the missing SOC 2 confirmation as friction. Supanote's own comparison posts name Upheal, SimplePractice's note feature and TherapyNotes AI as the products it is measured against.

Who is it for?

A solo therapist writing 30 to 40 notes a month is covered by the $19.99 or $29.99 tier. A small practice on SimplePractice or TherapyNotes would need the top plan for write-back, if Super Fill works as Toolentra describes. A clinic whose security review requires a SOC 2 report today has nothing to show the reviewer.

The verdict

Supanote is a focused, low-cost therapy note tool, and the solo therapist with modest volume is its best buyer. The note caps mean heavier users end up on the top tier, which is also the tier AppScribed ties to EHR integration. Group practices with a SOC 2 requirement should pick a scribe that states one.
